Presentation: Tom Tight, Managing Director, Public Trust Advisors
Special District officials responsible for managing their District’s investment portfolio must incorporate their fiduciary role with fundamental investment concepts and planning to safeguard their investments and ensure proper liquidity for their district. In 2022, the Federal Reserved raised the federal funds rate by 4.25% and there is no shortage of opinions as to what the Fed will do in 2023. In these uncertain times, implementing a holistic liquidity strategy is a prudent way to ensure safety and liquidity in your portfolio while seeking to increase income and minimize volatility. This webinar will provide a brief economic and market update and then focus on investment program enhancements and strategies special districts can implement to strengthen your investment program in a volatile market.
